Implemented by Umande Trust and KEPSA, and funded by the European Union through Oxfam, the CEADJ program aimed to empower communities to engage with local leaders and demand protection of their rights. The project organized different training sessions that prepared community members to be involved in the justice process. These included paralegal trainings, chief, assistant chief, and village elder trainings, refresher trainings for previously involved members, workshops on campaigning, grassroots accountability, and policy implementing, and forums involving and aspiring leaders.
