Where We Work

The projects we do are in the informal settlements, also known as slums. These areas are lacking in sanitation, water access, energy supply and cleanliness. The environment is one of the toughest places to live in the world. The people living in these areas are often part of close community within their area and try to create welfare for themselves through community collaboration.

We have started projects in areas spread all over Kenya, for example in some of the big city’s Nairobi, Nakuru and Kisumu. Other project places can be seen in the map below.

Though a lot of the informal settlements are already overflowing with people, the areas continue to grow. A lot of these people are very young still. Sometimes up to 50 percent of the habitants are under 18 years old. We try to help the communities so these vulnerable groups have a better outlook in life.
